Silk Screen Lapel Pins
Similar to our offset digital lapel pins, our Silk Screened pins offer a great amount of detail in a full-color design. While offset digital pins offer unlimited color options, silk screened pins can match exact PMS specifications, including free Pantone color matching. The screen printing process also allows for bleed registrations to ensure accurate reproduction of the art. Our silk screened pins are made with the same basic process used for silk screened t-shirts. A base coat is laid over the pin material, then each color is pressed through a screen and allowed to dry before moving on to the next color. Due to the nature of silk screening, this is a great option for detailed designs and registrations. Once each color has been applied, we use a clear epoxy dome to coat and protect the design for years to come.
